SAC Design Studio is a multidisciplinary creative team, working on a wide range of design projects. We specialise in creating solutions in various fields, from Urban design, Landscape, Architecture and Interior, to Graphic design. Our projects are deeply grounded in understanding of context and the user’s experience of the building so that, they are meaningful and continue to be relevant over time.
Led by Architect & Urban Designer Chandan Nandi, the SAC team is young, dynamic and multicultural, with a range of personal interests and specialities.We provide services both locally in West Bengal and nationally. Our Design Team started functioning since 2012 and our Studio was established at Salt Lakein 2015.Since then, we have designed over 200 buildings. SAC carries out architectural design work customized to meet your expectations and lifestyle. Whatever the project, Large orSmall scale, Government or Private, we have the expertise to undertake all aspects of building design while working together for a successful building experience. SAC is a current, licensed building architectural firm.

Meet Our Founders
Ar. Chandan Nandi
I am an Urban Designer & Architect working in Kolkata with more than 9 years of experience in Designing, Drawings, Project Development, Project Management, Project coordination, Client handling and Vendor management of various projects all across Eastern India. I have handled different genres of project on my own, stretching from Institutional Complexes, Industrial Complexes, Warehousing & Logistics to Residential Complexes with areas ranging from 30,000 Sq.ft. to 2,50,000 Sq.ft. I have headed, trained and managed a design team of 7 to 10 members to successfully coordinate projects, client handling and vendor management.
I always had a keen interest in academics and believe in industry – academic integration in order to stay tuned to the latest architectural design trends and updates in the field of design concepts. I have been associated with Jadavpur University as a visiting faculty since 2012, in the Dept. of Architecture, mainly conducting the design studio classes. I am also taking challenging subjects like “Architectural Marketing” and “Building System Integrations” at Amity University, Kolkata since 2019. Mentoring students has honed my interpersonal and communication skills.
I believe that a peaceful and happy state of mind can deliver miracle in everyone’s life. Thus, I stay occupied with my hobbies of long drives, cycling, listening to quality music and sports.
